NOTICE OF PETITION

An application under Sections 230 to 232 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 for sanctioning the Scheme of Amalgamation of Shriram Chits Private Limited, Shriram Chits (Maharashtra) Limited & Shriram Chits Tamil Nadu Private Limited with Shriram Chits (Karnataka) Private Limited was presented by the Applicant Company. In the said Application, by an Order passed on the 21^st August, 2018, the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, has ordered the convening of the meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company on 21.08.2018. In the said order, the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal also directed that the Applicant Company shall publish its merger on its official website for the benefit of the chit subscribers. Accordingly, this notice is displayed in the website of the Applicant Company.

Any chit subscriber(s) desirous of supporting or opposing the said petition should send to the Applicant Company to its registered office as mentioned above, notice of his intention, signed by him or his Advocate, with his name and address, so as to reach the Applicant Company not later than ten days before the date fixed for hearing of the Company Petition. Where he seeks to oppose the petition, the grounds of opposition or a copy of his affidavit shall be furnished with such notice. 

A copy of the Application can be collected from the Applicant Company by any chit subscriber by writing a letter to the Applicant Company atleast twenty days before the date fixed for hearing the Company Petition.
